Can AI rewrite my Delphi (or PHP 5, VB6, Classic ASP …) application? +
Yes — for most older, text-based languages AI is now a highly reliable tool. The key is process: AI first understands the entire codebase, identifies business logic, and then rewrites that logic into the chosen modern stack. Renovio never uses AI unattended — our engineers lead the process and verify every change.
How much does the full rewrite cost? +
The range is wide because it depends on size, complexity, and target stack. As a benchmark: rewriting a medium PHP 5 app (50,000–100,000 LOC) to PHP 8 + Symfony or Laravel typically costs €8,000–€25,000. You get a precise figure for your case in the report (€490).
What exactly do I get for €490? +
A 15–25 page PDF report with: current-state assessment, risk register, identified business logic, recommended target stack, phased rewrite plan, full project cost estimate, security assessment, and 5-year maintenance cost projection. Timeline: 3–5 business days from receipt of code.
What about the security of my code? +
If you want one, we sign an NDA before receiving any code — our template or yours. The NDA is optional and signed only on request. Code is uploaded to a secure folder accessible only to us. After analysis your data is deleted on agreed terms. All our servers are in the EU. We comply with GDPR.
Can I do the rewrite myself once I have the report? +
Of course. The report is yours. It contains enough detail for your team or another vendor to execute. If you continue with Renovio, the €490 is deducted 1:1 from the rewrite project price.
What languages do you work in? +
Slovenian, English, and German. The report is delivered in Slovenian or English — bilingual on request.
My stack (e.g. Magic XPA, Progress 4GL) is not listed. Do you take it? +
Get in touch. Some niches (Magic XPA, Progress 4GL, Clipper) have very little public training data for AI tools, so we review feasibility individually before starting an analysis.
Can you invoice a company? +
Yes. We operate as an EU-based legal entity with a valid VAT ID. Invoices comply with e-Slog 2.0 (EU PEPPOL-compatible).
